Healthy breakfast: Never eat bananas on an empty stomach?

We can't stress enough the importance of a healthy diet. In this article, I will show you the details about your breakfast you should pay attention to.


Firstly, you should avoid three foods or drinks to have in morning:


1. Drinking very cold beverages: It can cause stomach cramps. Gulping down large amounts of cold drinks can cause the stomach muscles to spasm. It's a healthy habit that when your drink any cold fluids, slow down and perhaps even wait until the drink is less icy.

2. Eating banana on an empty stomach: Bananas contain lots of magnesium. Eating a banana on an empty stomach results in a sudden increase of magnesium in blood. This can harm the body by destroying the balance between the calcium and magnesium in the blood and interfering with the way the heart works. It will also speed up the stomach's movement and the promotion of blood circulation, to increase the heart load.

3. Eating pineapple on an empty stomach: Although eating a few chunks of fresh pineapple first thing in the morning can help your digestion, and get the most bromelain (a kind of enzyme ) induced effects, eating too much pineapples on an empty stomach could be harmful to stomach and minimized to absorb nutrition.


A friendly reminder: Avoid having vinegar and garlic on en empty stomach in morning, which may contribute to stomach-acid excessively and stimulate gastric mucous membrane directly.


Secondly, You should never take too much carbohydrate-based foods and fried foods of high-fat condiments in morning:


Carbohydrate-based foods. Carbohydrate (meaning "carbon plus water") is the most widely eaten food in the world, such as vegetables and fruits, whole grains and potatoes. Glucose, the simplest carbohydrate, is essential fuel for the brain. Along with fat and protein, carbohydrate is an essential nutrient, but what makes carbohydrates different is that they are easily converted to energy by the body. Any healthy diet must include carbohydrates.


But there is a side effect of eating too much carbohydrate based food, because eating sweet or starchy carbohydrates can give your brain more serotonin. Serotonin is a brain chemical, it balances your mood and shut off your appetite. Appetite, not hunger, leads you to eat when you’re bored, stressed, or tempted by delicious foods around you. Appetite-induced overeating, not hunger, can add extra pounds and make it difficult to lose weight. Because serotonin has a calming effect, it can be synthesized increasingly because of much starch and sugar, thereby limiting brain cells activities which result for lower efficiency of studying and working.


The other is fried foods of high-fat condiments. The brain is starved for oxygen and the blood flow is slow when you excessively take in the high fat, high cholesterol foods in morning.

One day I asked a wise old man about healthy breakfast. He said, any food is good for your body if you're hungry. Follow your heart's desire, and respond to its cravings, just like a pregnant woman does. Then I says to myself, what's wrong with the hamburger if you're starving? Is it not blasphemous that you call it junk food?

Hi Jim, you just told us what not to eat, but what should you eat in the morning, if fried eggs and a slice of bread some days, wheat porridge , just had a banana and a wheat porridge is out? Help want to get optimal energy boost. thanks for your article Love Grace

Just because you don't agree with the author OR you are retarded, doesn't make this a bad article. Perhaps you just don't understand the use of different foods and nutrition, how food works and why some are better than others at specific times.Just to make a huge generalized statement as you did is retarded in my opinion! Retarded is that a new word for you? Seems to me you don't have a clue what people of lower mental capacity must have to put up with in the world just because they are a little different.
